how far to the horizon?-bw ver by a-human-works how far to the horizon?-bw ver by a-human-works
Since i've join the studio,i realized that i still need to learn ALOT,everyone there have got so high talent and creativity,i'm really excited what i'll learn from them for now the way,i've got so few freetime to do my own artwork, here's my latest sketch(if i can call it "sketch"),based on a storyline i've wrote a long time ago---a story about the girl who's on the journey, seeking for the faraway horizon.

hopes i can get the time to paint this - -",any comments would be appreciated,Enjoy!!

Heck of an angle. I love seeing more dynamic shots like this one. Very well done, I think. :)

Wow! This perspective is just... Just killer! I absolutely love all of the details, and not only had you colored this well, but it is just as phenomenal without all of the color, since it speaks for itself... Fantastic work!

where did you learn to do backgrounds like yours. and what soft ware did you use to color? I currently suck at backgrounds so I need all the help I can get!!

hmmm.., i can recommend some book for u if u interest, btw,i use photoshop to paint.

**May b u can try some 3d application like Sketchup to help on the background, but be careful not to overuse that, good luck!

oh man the lines are so clean for so much details.
How long did you spend on this line work ? That's all drawn on computer ?
a-human-works Featured By Owner Dec 3, 2008
yes,all done by digital ,takes me 3 days to get it done -_-"

Eheh 3 long days... But in the end, it's worth it. Cause you can really have fun in the color work afterwards.
I noticed you can gain a lot of time by doing some of the lines with a pencil (or inking), keeping small details for the digital part. I think a mix can be a good thing, clean and not too long...

Its really nice. It just looks like its made from a 3D software. The perspectives are really really good. Don't really mind about what others can do really. I doubt they can do such background like you too haha. Everyone have its strong point so just keep it with you ya.
